Oliver Ho presents A CIRCLE IN STONE under the alias, VEIL.

The album is a bold move into an intense and cinematic world involving sound design, avant-garde classical instrumentation and experimental electronics.
Over the course of 12 tracks, Oliver weaves a strange and haunting sonic story, that feels like sitting through a film. The album works as a kind of meditation on the power of ancient stone monuments, in particular the stone circle in Avebury England, which dates from around 2850BC and represents a nexus of energy that stems from human cultures quest for a spiritual communion between the land, the sky and the imagination.
Living in Wiltshire, Oliver is surrounded by these ancient sites of pagan magic, drawing inspiration from their silent power, the land is full of history and a narrative that talks about the raw spirit of nature.
These ideas of natural primal forces and primitive spirituality run through the music, casting a spell that draws the listener into a kind of hallucinatory state, a kind of fever dream that links the music with something vast and potent that lies in the earth and in the distant past of human imagination and our relationship with religion and gods.
